The top 3 Pro Anglers each received individual trophies. Also we now have a really nice perpetual trophy in the Plentypupule Kayak Store. Cindy's name will be added to the plaque as the Pro winner for Aug 2008 and each subsequent winner of future tournaments will also be added.
Cindy won the cash prize or $450 but donated it back into the prize kitty to entice more anglers to enter the pro division for the next tournament.
No Pros were able to catch and weigh in for both categories. The only angler in the tournament catching and weighing in with fish in both categories was David Kamau
John Whitman catching the largest fish got his choice of Angler Kayak. He chose an Ocean Kayak Prowler Trident Angler.
Darical Bowman taking 1st in the Inshore Division received the Feel Free Moken Angler
Jacob Mendez and Matt Reed taking 2nd in their categories won some really sharp Costa Del Mar Shades and Costa Del Mar T-Shirts
Kevin Uyeda coming in 3rd in the Offshore category got a nice Surf to Summit Backrest, drybag and rod holder.

Our next tournament is set for November 29th and 30th 2008. It's again set to be a two day event.
Steve and I would like to thank all the entrants for making this contest our most sucessful tournament to date. Special thanks to all the Oahu Anglers that made effort to be here and deal with the logistics of kayak fishing away from home.
We'd welcome any comments or suggestions to improve the tournament.
