The Werner Corryvrecken composite is one powerful paddle. It's got the carbon fiber shaft and fiberglass blades.

     It's designed as a high angle paddle so you'll be keeping your blade close to the kayak and your paddle shaft as close to vertical as can be done comfortably. It has a large stiff blade and is very lightweight (32oz).

     It performs best with the narrower kayak designs. If your paddling a wide kayak you won't be able to optimize the high angle stroke so the lower angle Werner Camano would work just as well in that case.
