The Magnum Soft Racks are made wider and thicker than the standard quick strap soft racks. The extra width disperses the load better and provides a more stable base.

    The kayak will ride a bit higher off the roof making for less chance of flapping straps to cause you grief while driving.

    They come in 30" or 36" width and also have a bow strap that ties the bow of the kayak down to the front bumper.
