     The Mirage Oasis is powered by two Mirage Drives and has the ability to take you and a partner flying past the rest of the tandems.  Itt can also work well with just one person in the aft position.

     It's just over 14'6" long, 33" wide and weighs 69lbs not counting the Mirage Drives. You and your partner can each work either upper body or legs (or both) independently to get the workout best suited for each person!

     The newer models come with the Mirage Drive Snap in locking system making your drive more secure in it's well and easier to clip in in and out of position. For 2012 they've added a molded in slot in the drivewell and alignment pins on the drive to make installation a breeze compared to earlier models 

     Between the two Hobie Mirage tandems (the Outfitter being the other choice) the Mirage Oasis is faster due to it's longer waterline and better for carring a heavier load. The newer Oasis models now have 2 Rod Holders and a hinged front storage hatch making it more appealing for kayak camping or any mission where you want more internal storage.  

     New for 2012 is locking seat plugs to keep the seats firmly in place. The 2012 models are also now coming with Mirage alignment pins combined with slots molded into the drivewell to make the drive installation a breeze compared to the earlier Mirage models.
