     The Nalu (meaning wave in Hawaiian) is 11' in length and 31" wide which provides a great platform for both Stand Up or traditional kayaking. And weighing only 40 lbs makes it one of the lightest kayaking models that Ocean Kayak offers

    With a carrying capacity of 275 lbs they've kept the hull very low profile. And with the molded in intregal fins, in the rear, the design tracks well even with windier conditions

   One more really intelligent optional feature is their Taboo paddle. The Taboo paddle quickly converts between a conventional kayak paddle (230cm) and a Stand Up blade (75" or 82") so you need carry only a single paddle while having all your options available when cruising your Nalu.
