The Escape "Playcat" is made from tough polyethylene plastic, all in one piece, so there are no seams to provide any weakness.

     It's manufactured using the same rotomolded technology as the majority of Sit on Top Kayaks. It's designed to be quick and extremely easy to handle. The sharp bow allows it to cut through the chop effortlessly, the hulls are canted for increased stability and it has tons of room on it's trampoline.

     This Playcat model made sail magazines top 10 list of new sailboats in 2001, and that's not just catamarans.... it took a top spot among all available sailboats!. Specifications: 16'7" length, 7' wide, 125sq' of sail area, aluminum mast 26', performance capacity rated for 750lbs and a total catamaran weight of only 220lbs.

     The fin keel protects the inboard rudders so it can sail in as little as 13" of water or right up to the beach, and if you do bump across the bottom the sleek fin shaped keel should skip right across protecting the rudders.
