Kayak transportation has previously been a problem for pickups unless you were outfitted with a heavy duty, expensive lumber rack. Now the Thule Xsporter provides the solution with a really sharp, sturdy and adjustable (less expensive) rack system.

     This complete rack (including load stops and locks) is easy to install and no is drilling required. It can adjust up or down to different heights, or it can easily pop coompletely off for a quick load or unload of tall cargo. If you're not using the rack on a daily basis just put it to it's lowest setting so it's below the cab and the reduced wind resistance can save you quite a bit on fuel economy.

    The previous model 421 (for smaller trucks) has been replaced with the 422XT which now fit's both small and larger truck sizes. They clamp right inside your pickup bed..

    Or on the trucks that have a track inside the bed (like the 05 or newer Tacoma), they have an adaptor kit ($39.95) that attaches the rack base to the  track on most models.
